Since Monday my workload has been quite comfortable, but last week it was too much to handle (mostly because of a misunderstanding: I thought a transcreation project had been cancelled and then all hell broke loose; thank goodness the issue was sorted out but it took its toll on my nerves). Bottom line? Nothing new!

Just delivered "a bunch", and have another "bunch" of cost estimates out, to turn into orders shortly.
For no explainable reason, my clients are scattered on a rectangle all the way South of Reykjavik to Buenos Aires, and all the way East from Sydney to Istambul, they don't know each other, however they keep a habit of striking me all at once, every time. Few armies have taken synchronicity to such a high level.

My workload right now is comfortable. I have just enough work to keep me busy during my office hours, without it becoming unmanageable. It is that way by design. I have had a lot of requests and could be working all me waking hours just now if I wanted to, but I prefer to turn down excess work in order to maintain a good work life balance.

I try not to panic, have to work some hours during the weekend.
I had to answer 2 regular clients that I cannot take on new projects for a week.

The last half of March was SLOW and so was the start of April. I'm expecting a couple of large jobs in the next few days, so I'm working on other stuff like getting my taxes done!
