Bio
I am a certified translator by Malaysian Institute of Translation and Books. I started doing part-time freelance translation jobs in 2014, and become a full-time freelance translator since July 2017. I do both English to Malay and Malay to English translation.
Previously, I was a software engineer by training and by profession. I worked in the software development field in the corporate world for more than 20 years. During my academic years, I stayed in the USA for a few years while I attended university. This stay abroad has given me the opportunity to learn, understand and live a foreign culture. Furthermore, my past career as software engineer has given me the opportunity to interact with colleagues from all around the world such as USA, UK, Germany, Sweden, Italy, India and Australia, thus giving me the familiarity to various different English accents as well as different cultures and lifestyles.
I am confident my broad life experience and my strong interest equip me well to do an excellent translation job.
