A Meeting of the Minds - Lawyer-Linguist Virtual event

Lawyer-Linguists are professionals who use both their professional credentials in law and translation and/or interpretation in their daily work. Some lawyer-linguists are freelancers, while others work for law firms, governmental institutions, and other corporate entities. Practicing lawyer-linguists, as well as those interested in this dual profession, will be provided with content-rich presentations from a variety of lawyer-linguists globally, as well as other stakeholders, who will share information on the different types of work that lawyer-linguists carry out, training for the profession, as well as legal translation techniques and resources.


Attendees had the opportunity to participate in live Q&A with experts, and also provide their input. While the event has ended you can still:
