SDL Trados Studio 2015 lets you add comments to your translations and comments, if added to a Word file, will also appear in Word.

Hi, Guillaume. Sorry to bother and recover this, but you say it's possible but you don't say HOW (to add or insert a footnote in SDL Trados). Could you explain? I've been checking for this for a good while and there is no info on this on the SDL Website, forums or anywhere in Google.
