Dear all, Would you please help me understand what "time-coding" means? I was asked by a client to transcribe a project and the client asked if I could provide "time-coding SUB/SRT/TXT file".
Many thanks in advance. Ali

time-coding

Timecoding or spotting is entering the in and out time codes (in: when the subtitle appears - out: when it disappears) in hours, minutes, seconds and frames. The most accurate way to do so is by using a subtitling programme (such as Spot or Swift).
