My PC seems to run fast, but my CATs are still quite slow. What can I do?

In the beginning you mentioned 8GB of RAM, but I only see 4GB of physical memory. Could it be possible that one of the RAMs (assuming that you are using dual channel RAM) is broken somehow?

I also use 8GB of RAM and SSD, and I have both MemoQ 2014 R2 and Trados Studio 2015 installed. Both are working fine, and my system runs pretty fast even when I open both CATs.

Another possibility is other programs/applications interfering with your CATs, hence they do not work optimally.
