How to change email adress used for Windows account?

For my Windows 10 account (under VWware Fusion), I used a certain email address. Since this is not the address that holds my Office 365 license, I want to change the email address I use to log into Windows.
Is this possible? Or do I then need to create a new admin with the correct address?

So ... how do I change the login for Windows to ali [email protected]?

Thanks, but both accounts are already being used, so I get this warning:

I cannot give you a solution, I'm afraid, but you are not alone. My ex had a similar problem and sorting it has been a complete nightmare. Microsoft have been unable to resolve it even though it's their own software.

I think all you need to do is add a number to your preferred email address. In your case for example '[email protected]' would most likely be accepted.
