I am a native Croatian speaker. I have a BA in English and a PhD in philology. My poetry has been published in reputable British literary magazines, including Decanto and Candelabrum, as well as in two anthologies. My first book, a study in comparative literature, which I also translated, was published on August 1, 2018 by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. I’m a native speaker of Serbo-Croatian, (a language covering Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian and Montenegrin), and also a writer, with three novels behind me. My literary translation experience began with translating my own novel, Dream Tamer, into English. I also have a Master degree in philosophy, so I started translating short articles from Danish and English into Serbo-Croatian, until I eventually translated a whole book, Kierkegaards Univers by Johannes Sløk, from Danish to Serbo-Croatian.
