I am a freelance translator and a subtitler, currently working towards my Master’s degree in Translation Studies at Durham University. I am a graduate from the Greek Philology Department from University of Athens with specialisation in Linguistics. Having worked in retail, I have gained the ability to interact in a positive and professional way with a wide variety of personalities. I am also familiar with CAT Tools and I am able to work effectively within strict deadlines.

I am a native Greek translator and qualified teacher of German Language.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in German Literature and Language and I am currently studying my Master’s in Translation Studies at the University of Birmingham. My main areas of interest are tourism, arts, literature and pedagogy. In addition to my formal education and training, my 10+ year’s history of hands-on experience makes me having a critical eye on detail

I have studied English Studies at the University of Cyprus. Recently I have finished my MSc in Specialised Translation (medical technical scientific) at University College London. I have been working as a freelance translator and proofreader the last few years. I want to implement what I have learned at UCL in a way to develop both myself as a translator and other collabs.

I am interested in social sciences and psychology. I believe that learning a new language make you think different, and see the world with another view.

I am a graduated student of the Department of French Language and Literature (NKUA) and now it is time to start my career as a translator. My tree-month internship in a translation agency has just finished, and at the moment I am looking forward to new experiences. in the meanwhile I do my research on my future studies (Master degree).
In my spare time I am a volunteer and member of an environmental campaign. I also love dancing and travelling.
