My name is Paula and I am a 22 year-old student who is finishing her Translation studies. I am a very outgoing person who is very passionate about developing my bilingual skills through the translation. I am very hard-worker and I love solving difficulties.

MA in Specialized Translation - Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (2016-present)

Translation and Interpreting Graduate from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (graduated in 2010). Languages: CA, ES, EN, CH (Mandarin, traditional and simplified). Graduated from Tradumàtica Summer Schol in 2017 (intensive course on translation technologies). Interested in a vast range of subjects, but preference for the following: science, medicine, social issues, journalism, travelling, tourism industry, gastronomy.

Agricultural Engineer looking to expand professional horizons, currently studying Translation and highly motivated to start working and keep learning in this field of knowdledge. Hard worker, positive thinker. My target would be to combine both careers and work as a translator project manager in the field of agriculture & engineering.

I am on my 4th year at Jaume I University and I am currently an Erasmus student in Heidelberg University (Germany). I love working with lanuages, that is why I have worked as a Chinese teacher for young children for 7 months. I have also translated an autobiography from Spanish into English in March 2018. I am still looking for my path within my field of study, but I am highly interested in interpreting and audiovisual translation. I really hope I can find an opportunity to get started here.

I am a last year student of Translation and Interpreting in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
During my degree, I have done courses such as Localisation, Audiovisual Translation (dubbing and subtitling) or Interpreting from English to Spanish or Catalan.
I have volunteered for a NGO as a localisator and I have done an internship during four months in a Festival of Short Films (MECAL) subtitling documentaries and short films.
