From that internship, I expect to first practise more than now and build a good profile for future career prospects. Living in Cameroon, it will be advantageous for me to do a remote internship which will help me improve on my competences in Web localisation and in general translation, particularly from English to French or from German to French. This internship will contribute a lot to make me gain experience in translation and website localisation.

I have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science (received Fall 2017) and am currently writing scientific articles in climate science and forestry, so my goal is to become a translator working in that niche. I am hoping to gain experience in translating and gather samples to build my portfolio and resume.

I would like to do an internship that would allow me to gain more experience in the fields of translation, interpretation, localization, editing, and/or project management. Due to the fact that I would like to work as a professional, it is essential for me to improve my competencies. In the future,I would like to establish my own business offering linguistic services.

I am looking to gain an insight into the working practices of a translation firm, where I can more accurately realise the life of the professional translators that work there. I would further relish an opportunity to enhance my translation skills, in which I may also immerse myself in both in the language and culture. Pursuing multiple foreign languages, engaging in University life to the fullest extent, I have developed a useful skill set. I am a highly dependable, passionate individual.

I hope I'll gain some new experience, great partnership and learn some new skills in domain translation.
