After travelling the world (UK, Thailand, Germany, France), I received my B.A. in French & German culture and language at Oberlin College, an MA from Middlebury College and, after a year of studies at the Institut de Sciences Politiques-Paris, I became certified in French to English translation at Georgetown University.

Upon moving to Paris, I worked as an author on the Editions Larousse Grand Dictionnaire bilingue, first collating and authoring entries and afterwards editing entries to ensure the correct US equivalents for English entries. I found, during this time, that translation was a perfect complement for my lexicographic work and began translating freelance for editors and professionals in the industrial and luxury sectors.

I have over 30 years of experience in translation, working with major brands such as Louis Vuitton, Möet Hennessy and Havas & EURO RSCG as well as in such technical fields as IT, sustainable development, green energies, logistics and textiles.
I have also copy edited financial reports, brochures for European agencies such as ADEME, the CNRS and the European Commission.

Quality is my main concern along with a respect of the original style and tone. I thoroughly research my subjects and I would not undertake scientific or legal work that required a specialists's knowledge.
