Bio
I am a native Latvian translator with more than eight year full-time experience in translation and proofreading in English into Latvian and vice versa. My translation experience covers such subjects as law, finance, medicine, pharmacy, biology, electronics, IT, and others. I have completed projects for such global brands as LG, Hewlett-Packard, Samsung, Ricoh, Cigna Health Services, Quintiles, Roche, Lisam Systems, WiseTech Global and others.

I have studied English and Japanese linguistics in Latvia and Germany, and currently I am continuing my studies to receive a master's degree in Baltic linguistics (Latvian and Lithuanian). I am a proficient user of English and Japanese, plus I speak Russian and have basic knowledge of German and Italian.

On daily basis I use Trados Studio 2014, and I am familiar with other CAT tools as well, including various online systems.
