Bio
I have been working as a translator/proofreader for fourteen years and my experience ranges from providing official dictionary translations (Langenscheidt 2010 Portuguese/English pocket dictionary) to sub-titling BBC documentaries ('The Man Who Cycled the Americas' - March 2010), and translating contracts, news stories, medical reports and scripts on a regular basis.
I translate from English into Portuguese and Portuguese into English (being bi-lingual in the two languages and holding a degree in Modern Languages) as well as proofreading in both languages, and have worked in both Brazil and the UK so I have a working and colloquial knowledge of both languages.
Past clients include: BBC, Lloyds TSB, Diplomat Magazine, The Ayrton Senna Foundation, Phaidon Press, LDR London, Fortune Law and Generator Hostels and I have enjoyed repeat requests from all my clients over many years.
I am passionate about languages and writing and pride myself on providing an accurate, reliable and timely service to all my clients.
