Nice to meet you! I am a qualified native Romanian translator located in Italy, certified both by Global Legal English Ltd, U.K. (Test of Legal English Skills certificate - excellent higher level) and by the Italian Ministry of Justice c/o Law of Court in Tivoli as a linguist expert for the following language pairs: RO-EN-IT, all combinations.

I have a B.A. degree in Political Sciences - English Department and two M.A. degrees, one in Comparative History (Central European University, Budapest, Hungary) and, the other one, in Sociology (La Sapienza, University of Rome, Italy).

My experience as a translator started back in 2006 with the publishing of a unique Report on the history of Romanian communism (where I participated as a EN-RO expert translator; please check my C.V. for further details), a project that gathered expert Romanian historians from Europe, United States and Romania.
In 2007, I moved to Italy and, after a while, I started my adventure as a legal translator, by fruitfully collaborating (ongoing) with Italian judicial institutions, lawyers and private customers in all language combinations I am qualified for.

Thanks to my constant business relationship with these customers and the ongoing training in legal matters, I am now able to offer my clients a valuable support in their own business, as a linguist, translator and cultural consultant.

My fields of expertise include: civil law systems (e.g. Italy, Romania, ecc.), common law systems (e.g. United Kingdom, U.S.A., ecc.), institutions and politics of the European Union, international political affairs, the history of European dictatorships and ancient and modern Christianity.

My language pairs are: EN-RO; RO-EN; IT-RO; RO-IT; EN-IT; IT-EN.
My international Certifications include: the T.O.L.E.S. certification issued by Global Legal English, U.K. (excellent higher level) and the Certification as a linguist technical consultant for EN-RO-IT, all combinations issued by the Ministry of Justice in Italy c/o Court of Law.
