After earning a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, I briefly worked in engineering and then in health insurance for 10 years. I moved to the Netherlands in 1995 and started learning Dutch, and I have been a successful Dutch > English translator since late 2012.
I read widely and enjoy making technical subjects understandable to all. My liberal arts education and life experiences make many subjects interesting to me.
My extended family contacts include specialists in chemistry, geology, IT technology, mechanical engineering, and gaming – so I know where to go if I need a specific answer!
