After a literary baccalaureate,
post-graduate studies (7 years long in Sorbonne Paris IV) in languages (English and especially
Spanish), literature and Hispano-American civilization, a
Master 2 in Spanish and a diploma in Commercial Spanish awarded by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in France (1988), I started working in
tourism in
1989 at a tour operator specialized in tailor-made
travel, on several destinations. Then I began learning italian (1989),
and traveling to Italy for my job and also leisure. I also often visited
Spain and its islands, and traveled to many latin american countries.

I did 2 years of training in literary translation es > fr at the European Centre for Literary Translation in Brussels (2011-2012) and a 3-year seminar in literary translation it > fr at the Italian Cultural Centre in Paris (2011 to 2014). In 2021 I completed a SEO web editor training  which enriches my skills for any translation to a web medium.

During 25 years working in tourism I translated many texts from english, spanish and italian to french. Then I did it for hotels, local agencies (in Italy and Spain). I am used to proofreading different types of texts (novels, master's theses) and sometimes to rewriting them.

I offer you my excellent command of French, my mother tongue. I love playing with languages, immersing myself in the world of an author, finding the right word. I strive to meet my clients' expectations as well as possible while respecting the meaning of the source text and adapting it to the target culture.
