Source text - Polish Muzeum Kosmonautyki to w tej rozpisce punkt obowiązkowy. Trudno chyba o zasobniejszą skarbnicę podniebnych pamiątek.
Poza wypchanymi Biełką i Striełką oglądam przestrzenny model księżyca, stare skafandry, Łunochod i oryginalny, przypalony w zetknięciu z atmosferą lądownik Sojuza.
Z nabożnym skupieniem przestępuję też próg pełnowymiarowej makiety stacji Mir.
Czekam, aż zostanę tu na chwilę sam - taka okazja nie trafia się w końcu często.
Wnętrze wygląda jak przerośnięty domek dla lalek.
Translation - English Museum of Cosmonautics is a must-see and a treasure trove of souvenirs from Space.
Next to taxidermies of Belka and Strelka I can see a spatial model of the Moon, old space-suits, the Lunokhod rover and the original Soyuz lander singed by the Earth’s atmosphere.
Touched with reverence I step into the full-scale reconstruction of the Mir Space Station.
I am waiting for a rare occasion to be alone inside, if only for a while.
The interior resembles a large-scale doll-house.
