Not sure (I'd prefer the option "other") Mar 30, 2019

Jealous? To be honest, that never crossed my mind, maybe because I’m not the jealous type myself. I’m very proud of the fact that my long-standing client has stayed with me for over 25 years, but I know that things can change suddenly and clients come and go for reasons you have no control of. I'd like to know who my clients are first Mar 30, 2019

I don't even know my own clients!!
I have worked for a number of Chinese SNS members for over 8 years and I still don't know who they are.

Some translators might, others definitely not.

But that is the same with everything in life - my home, my food, my clothes, and the squirrel that climbed on me the other day. Some people might be jealous and some people not at all.

I don't want anybody to be jealous of me, in any aspect. Jealousy has only negative outcomes.
But I've been seeing many colleagues complain that they have no work, above all those recently graduated in translation courses. So I better not talk about my clients publicly. It's not a nice thing to do anyway. Even if everyone was doing fine, it's terrible to brag about your portfolio anyway.

Why would I even care? Apr 1, 2019

I hope that everyone has good clients and can earn a good living at this job.
