Il presente articolo ha lo scopo di analizzare alcuni degli adattamenti francesi della commedia Il tacchino realizzati nel corso degli anni. L'obiettivo è dimostrare come una pièce dell'Ottocento sia stata oggetto di varie interpretazioni che spesso hanno determinano un traviamento del significato del testo.
