Casualty and Incident data are automatically transferred from the field server to the Central server. User accounts and new code / code relationships are automatically transferred from the Central server to the Field server. When the connection between these servers is lost, it becomes necessary to perform a manual data transfer.
A manual data transfer involves storing the data from the Field (or Central) server temporarily on a removable medium such as a floppy disk or USB memory stick (min 5 GB) at which point the data can then be manually transferred from the medium to the Central (or Field) server.
