French term

... les créances de la banque de couverture

French to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Subordination Agreement
"l'emprunteur procède au remboursement anticipé de tout ou partie des créances senior (autres que les créances de la banque de couverture)"

This is in a Subordination Agreement. I have found "Hedging Bank", "Reimbursement Bank" and "Cover Bank" as possible translations, but not a great deal when I Google these terms.

In the "terminology" section of the agreement, I have the explanation"Banques de Couverture" désigne le ou les Prêteurs Senior ayant conclu un Contrat de Couverture..." so I understand if they are lenders, then reimbursement obviously comes into it but I am unsure of which term is commonly used in English.
Proposed translations (English)

Katharine Holmes (asker) Apr 8, 2014:
Thanks for your help James. I did see this entry earlier but I wondered if it meant something else in the particular context of my translation. However, so far, I do think that "Hedging Bank" is the right option to use. I have since found a document on lending structures - Back to Basics Banking on Senior Debt that refers to hedging.

... the amounts owed to the hedging bank

The borrower is agreeing to pay off, before maturity, all or part of the senior claims other than what it owes to the hedging bank under the agreement.
