In their study to assess racial and socioeconomic disparities in access to primary care among people with chronic conditions, Shi and colleagues found that racial disparities are associated with not having a usual source of care, provider type, or location. Minority groups were less likely to have a usual source of care and were more likely to use hospitals and facilities for care (instead of a regular physician or other health care provider).

Evet, bizdeki aile hekimliği müessesesine benzeyen bir yapı var ABD'de. Ancak oradakiler kamusal/devlete ait değil, özel klinikler. "Usual source of care" onu, yani düzenli olarak gittiğiniz doktoru/kliniği ifade ediyor olmalı.

Merhaba. Bir sonraki cümlede "Minority groups were less likely to have a usual source of care and were more likely to use hospitals and facilities for care (instead of a regular physician or other health care provider)" deniyor. Bu durumda "usual source of care", "regular physician or other health care provider"a denk düşüyor olmalı.

"usual source of care" genel olarak sağlık hizmetinin alındığı kurumu, location ise spesifik olarak hizmetin alındığı noktayı (i.e. o kurumun belirli bir şubesini) ifade eder.
