French term

cantonnés aux 2/3 moyen et inférieur de la hauteur épithéliale

French to English Medical Medical (general) pathology
Good evening!

I am translating a pathology report regarding the colon and caecum and have come across this awkward phrase. Is anyone able to help with the translation?

Thank you!

BTW, "hauteur epithéliale" = "epithelial height"

restricted to the basal two-thirds of the epithelial cells

Hesitated about posting this because don't want to "split hairs" ! But it is I think more precise, avoiding confusion around the meaning of "inferior" in this context. See for example this description of colonic adenomas- http://www.pathologyoutlines.com/topic/colontumoradenoma.htm...
