This is from a movie dialogues in which the title chief (apparently comming from Igbo's amuludun) is used to address the director/president of a company and even division/sectional directors of the firm. There is this dialogue:
-Chief.
-What's wrong?
Chief, if I may interrupt here.
Is there another, better translation of amuludun into English in such a context?
