Igbo term

amuludun

Igbo to English Bus/Financial Cinema, Film, TV, Drama
This is from a movie dialogues in which the title chief (apparently comming from Igbo's amuludun) is used to address the director/president of a company and even division/sectional directors of the firm. There is this dialogue:
-Chief.
-What's wrong?
Chief, if I may interrupt here.

Is there another, better translation of amuludun into English in such a context?

You can you "sir" in the conversation dialog to connote respect for the personality. Instead of using manager repeatedly, you can use "sir"in place of it.

In speaking directly to the said head, how would you address that person?
Dear Blessing Uzuegbu. Would you be so kind as to help me also with the term "odogwu" - perhaps, a leader - here in the context of a protagonist turns to his own brother. I can pose it as a separate question, if you wish.
