Culture and Leisure (Town) Councellor
I don't think so either... Maybe you could call the person "Culture and Leisure Town Councellor".
8 mins
Chairman (of Committee) of Culture and Recreation
The title "borgmester" = Mayor would obviously indicate more than just "kultur of fritid", so maybe you cna use my suggestion!
Reference:
21 mins
Mayor of the Cultural and Recreational committee.
Martin Geertsen currently holds this position in Copenhagen. If you google his name with the word 'mayor', you will see that is is most commonly referred to in English by the title above.
