villeinage
"Hoveri" in Danish is an old term referring to the old feudal system and as far as I am aware "villeinage" refers to exactly this type of feudal system - so I also believe that this is the term to use

My original post is actually not referring to the service but the relationship. I used villeinage as a straight translation of the word hoveri which I believe is correct. I also believe that in this context it works best to use "villain services" or corvée labour in order to capture the sentence that the asker has provided.

Other than that single, slightly ambiguous use by Coke, you'll be hard-pressed to find support for using this to refer to the service itself.

In your reference "villeinage" is stated as being the service of a bondman. So both villeinage and villein service should usable terms here depending on how you construct the sentence.
