Little context, all I have is that the delivery of the cranes will include the following:

1. Rigging of all hoists
2. Installatiion of all *baanvoedingen*
3. Installation of all circuit breakers etc etc

Obviously related to power supply but further than that ....

Hi again, these were overhead travelling cranes in a factory situation. I understood "voeding" to be in the sense of power supply but won't know for sure until client reverts - there was very little context, only what is stated above.

Thanks Kenneth, not my field but in the legal doc I'm doing on occupational health and safety and luckily there have only been two terms that have stumped me. Is nice to break away from the norm a little! I'm going to provide client with a few options here and will revert.

It's a bit of a guess, but I'm inclined to agree with you, despite the only potentially relevant google hit (in the singular). See e.g. 'De voeding van de kraan geschiedt met behulp van een vlakkabel in lussen...' at www.elmec.nl/Kranen.htm.

PS: I certainly wouldn\'t use \'supply circuits\'. A power supply is much more than a circuit or even several circuits!

Don\'t really see that asker\'s latest info changes anything. I\'ve been thinking along this \'track\' all the time (see my note about educated guesses etc. below).

Concise Oxford Dict.: educated = based on experience or study (an educated guess). As for the kind of track, I'm talking about exactly the same tracks as you are. As for 'supplies', the context suggests electrical power supplies. Hence: 'track supplies'.

Assuming we're talking about the tracks along which the cranes move. (presumably along a quay or railway)

To be more specific: I\'m considering the possibility asker\'s \"baan\" refers to rather wide railtracks along which cranes move, e.g. in docks of Singapore, London, Honkong, Antwerp and even Rotterdam.

He suggested \'track FACILITIES\' might fit better in this context.
