Wanneer een nieuwe aankoppelbok in gebruik wordt genomen moet deze eerst worden afgesteld. Dit houd in dat de bok eerst moet worden gepast in de bemester, daarna moet de kop van de bok op diepte worden afgesteld en de schroefdraad geborgd met loctite. Nu is de aankoppelbok klaar voor gebruik. (zodenbemester)

Ik denk dat hier dezelfde terminologie als voor een trekker kan worden gebruikt. De aankoppelbok bepaalt de diepte. Uitdraaien is dieper, indraaien is ondieper injecteren. Dit is de centrale arm in een driepuntskoppeling.
