Dutch term

ermede gelijkgestelde toelage

Dutch to English Other Law: Taxation & Customs pensioenfiche 281.11
I'm not sure how to translate 'ermede gelijkgestelde toelage' in the sentence:

Pensioenen, renten en ermede gelijkgestelde toelage

It's from the Belgian Pensioenfiche 281.11 - bitten off a bit more than I can chew : (

and equivalent benefits/income

I hope I'm not being picky here, but I feel W. Schouten's answer isn't quite right because of the word "with", and Kirsten hasn't translated "toelage" - which should actually be "toelagen".

You could also say "similar".

neutral Kirsten Bodart : Just to answer your comment. I did not think it was necessary to mention it. Maybe it is better. 'Equivalent' is better as it concerns tax and as such it is considered equivalent to a pension income. 'Similar' is not appropriate, I don't think.

with equivalent allowance/benefit

toelage is 'allowance or benefit'

or equivalent

The sentence reads 'pensions, interest-income (from capital or investments) or equivalent (things considered by Belgian law to be equivalent to the latter two)'. 'Ermede' is the same as 'ermee' only VERY old-fashioned.
