Sorry for the confusion! Hi everyone! I'm a bit confused myself, I'm afraid ... I have indicated that I have chosen "Chief Sergeant's office", but actually it was "Senior Sergeant". I thought Dave's answer was closest to this.

Since you seem to be going though all of the ranks: why translate the ranks? There is no real equivalence for all of them in English. First of all since the two biggest anglo-saxon armed forces use different rank denomination:
staff-sergeant (US) - warrant officer - petty officer - leading airman - private first class - ......
And then I'm not even thinking of all these other countries that use a mix of these and their own ...

senior constable

the old rijkspolitie (stater police) rank system is used. The wachtmeester 1 is equal to the senior constable.
