I need a proper translation of "stone pine".
This is the context from the text of the Regulation of EU regarding producing of specific kind of cheese in Portugal. This is a description of the conditions where the cheese is being produced.
‘The demarcated geographical area where ‘Queijo de Azeitão’ is produced has various different soil and climate characteristics, from the calcareous soils of the Serra da Arrábida mountains to an area of sandy land with stone pine, cork oak and mixed tree cover, as well as agricultural land where tree density is low.’
