Volume coils (rumspole) provide better imaging of volumes (inner tissue) rather than surfaces (overfladespole). Head coils (hovedspole) are specifically designed for a (human or animal) head. This sentance if V were not a capital could mean a moveable volume section (stor cylinder) i.e. where the persons head sits, with a head coil (hovedspole). There is also a reference to this above.
However most Danish research and literature in this area was written in English.
