Nunca jogo em loterias. De minha parte aconselho-o/a a procurar entender o contexto: fala-se de uma produção prematura de sementes na primeira florada. Pense melhor e procure entender o contexto.

Eu diria assim, porque "bolting' é o mesmo que "running to seed", cujo significado é:

Bolting
