Tools Setup
Hi, again!
A little lost with the meaning of such an easy word. It is NOT 'end custumer'. The @@@ would be the different tools mentioned.
Context:
"To enable the remote management of the succession equipment, an IP connection of 512kb/s or faster IPSEC protected internet tunnel will need to be in place. The IPSEC connectivity between the customer IEMS and the XXXX @@@ is assumed to be configured at the customer end on the XXXX @@@ deployed as part of the @@@ remote reactive support solution. The use of the internet rather than leased line permits rapid service establishment and reduces recurring costs.
Thanks again :-)

: Leniel: Desculpa; você tem razão. Na realidade é "na ponta do cliente".

Flávio, o que eu quis expressar é que a configuração será feita no ponto de conexão do cliente, ou seja, na instalação/propriedade do cliente.

: Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) - Telephone or other service provider equipment that is located on the customer's premises (physical location) rather than on the provider's premises or in between...equipment placed at the customer's end

Note from asker:
Thank you, Maria. But I must say that it is not 'end customer', for when it is, it's well defined in the text. That was exactly my problem with 'end' here. |
