German term

Abschlussbewertung vornehmen

German to English Social Sciences Human Resources Ausbildung-Praktikum
Under the title "Bewertung" in the context of appraising the performance of interns there is the following, which I am a bit unsure about -
*Abschlussbewertung vornehmen*

Suggestions welcome
Yorick

- formale Beurteilungen anwenden
- Zwischenbeurteilungen abgeben
*Abschlussbewertung vornehmen*

final performance evaluation

Sounds like this is where his/her job performance is evaluated by the boss just before they leave the program (to go back to school, the be hired as full-time employees?).

You might want to leave off the 'performance' if you want to stay with the German, but I would use it if the audience is in the USA.
Peer comment(s):

agree Kim Metzger : vornehmen could be prepare or simply do

In this context, it sounds to me like 'do it' what with the list of other assesments
neutral Eva Gross (X) : I think "contact" is a far more elegant solution, as in the answer below...

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you very much. This is what I chose and agree with the comment about conduct from Kim Metzger-from the text it is not clear whether the evaluations are exclusively oral or not. I think not. Many thanks. Yorick"

conduct final performance evaluations

frequently used in human resources
Peer comment(s):

neutral Kim Metzger : "Conduct" only if done orally. In the US, they're usually done in writing, so they're prepared.
