rhetoric
(from a seminar handout for business writing skills)
A quick Google search gives some English texts with 'move', but others with different triplets:
inform, persuade, convince
inform, persuade, motivate
What do you think the best solution for 'bewegen' would be here? Thanks

motivate
"Motivate" sounds positive and conveys the same idea as "bewegen".
"Convince" sounds too similar to "persuade" for my liking.

to make things happen
not one word but....

animate
I think animate would put it across quite well, in the sense of:
3. To fill with spirit, courage, or resolution; encourage. See Synonyms at encourage.
4. To inspire to action; prompt.

influence
Here's another option.
I think it fits with the idea of affecting people's behaviour.
On the other hand, you might then need a different word to translate "Gefühle beeinflussen"...?

: I think think this one captures the meaning best: exert influence, impact, initiate change also come to mind.

challenge
Yet another option.
It has a bit of an "I dare you" undertone (but positive), which harmonizes well with the ideas that follow "Bewegen" in the source text.

move to action
The result of another quick google search:
"In the strategic communication model there are four levels in trying to get the advocacy audiences to support the issues – they must first be Informed, then Motivated & persuaded before they can be moved to action (Inform =>Motivate =>Persuade =>Move to Action)."
