Da anni, sia in Europa che in Italia, gli imprenditori agricoli hanno rivisto le proprie abitudini in fatto di scelte, affiancando all’insostituibile trattore, una macchina ‘nuova’ per il settore: l’Elevatore Telescopico.
In virtù di questa tendenza del mercato, COMPANY X s.r.l. ha progettato e realizzato una serie di macchine, rivolte esclusivamente all’agricoltura: la gamma TRACTOR , si rivolge a tutte le aziende agricole che intendono integrare il proprio parco-macchine con un nuovo elemento, in grado di affiancare efficacemente le macchine tradizionali nelle innumerevoli manovre di sollevamento e spostamento. Tractor Plus 40.7 H VS Novità
Da oggi la serie TRACTOR PLUS si rinnova: le macchine di nuova produzione verranno dotate di motore di ultima generazione FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies) Tier IVi (Stage 3b), un innovativo 4,5 litri Diesel Turbo Aftercooler Common Rail da 105 Kw di potenza (142 Cv) a gestione completamente elettronica. La nuova unità motrice è in linea con le più recenti normative in materia di emissioni vigenti in Nord America (secondo le direttive EPA) e dall’Unione Europea, grazie alla tecnologia di trattamento dei gas di scarico SCR (riduzione selettiva catalitica): in questo sistema l’abbattimento delle emissioni inquinanti avviene grazie all’altissima temperatura all’interno delle camere di combustione, abbattendo così il particolato ed eliminando gli NOX generati mediante la reazione chimica tra l’additivo a base di urea (AdBlue) e i gas di scarico, ottenendo maggiori prestazioni del motore e un significativo calo dei consumi. Il motore trasmette la potenza alle ruote grazie ad una innovativa trasmissione idrostatica VS di II generazione (Variazione Continua) di marca DANA, composta da una pompa idrostatica abbinata a due motori idraulici a pistoni, studiata per raggiungere elevate velocità su strada (da 0 a 40 Km/h) mantenendo allo stesso tempo una elevata forza di trazione. Una frizione multidisco a bagno d’olio disconnette, al bisogno, uno dei due motori idraulici, mantenendo sempre il massimo livello di efficienza del sistema. Come per il motore Diesel, la gestione è totalmente elettronica, garantendo una erogazione di coppia estremamente fluida e una variazione di velocità continua da 0 a 40 Km/h. Il comando di inversione marcia è stato integrato nel Joystick, consentendo all’operatore un controllo delle fasi di marcia più pratico e confortevole. L’utilizzo combinato del motore FPT, della trasmissione VS II e della gestione elettronica, permette di ottenere un risparmio di combustibile fino al 20%. Il raffreddamento è assicurato da un doppio radiatore con doppio Fan Drive a ventola reversibile. Le altre innovazioni della macchina comprendono una estetica rinnovata del cofano, nuovi serbatoi a grande capacità per gasolio, AdBlue e olio, un impianto idraulico e pompa idraulica potenziati per una maggior velocità di lavoro senza rinunciare al controllo e alla sicurezza. La vocazione all’uso pesante e intensivo dell’TRACTOR PLUS si esprime non solo nella motorizzazione, ma anche nelle dotazioni di sollevamento: una innovativa valvola per il controllo di discesa del braccio consente al nuovo TRACTOR PLUS di avere una eccezionale manovrabilità e maggiore comfort per l’operatore. Movimenti più precisi, macchina più reattiva a inizio movimento e maggior stabilità in tutte le condizioni sono solo i principali vantaggi ottenuti con l’adozione della nuova valvola. La maggiore velocità di movimento, ottenuta anche grazie alla nuova pompa idraulica ad ingranaggi da 180 l/1’, determina una maggiore efficienza e una consistente riduzione dei tempi di lavoro. La macchina risulta essere meno influenzata dalle condizioni ambientali, è infatti pronta ed efficiente fin dalle prime ore del mattino anche con olio idraulico freddo.
I nostri test hanno infine accertato un ulteriore risparmio di carburante dal 7 al 8 % dovuto al fatto che la velocità di discesa del braccio non è più dipendente dai giri del motore Diesel. I mezzi sono dotati di gomme di serie 405/70x24” (in alternativa 17.5 LR 24” oppure 18-22.5), pneumatici dal diametro e dalla superficie di appoggio particolarmente grande che permettono di procedere senza problemi su ogni tipo di terreno. Le macchine TRACTOR PLUS sono omologate per il traino su strada di rimorchi fino a 20 tonnellate ad una velocità massima di 40 Km/h.

New Tractor Plus 40.7 H VS
The TRACTOR PLUS series has been updated: the new machines will be equipped with the latest generation FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies) Tier 4i (Stage IIIb) engine, an innovative 4.5 litre Diesel Turbo Aftercooler Common Rail with 105 Kw of power (142 Hp) with full electronic control. The new engine complies with the most recent emissions standards in North America (enforced by the EPA) and in the European Union thanks to exhaust gas treatment technology SCR (selective catalytic reduction). In this system, the reduction of polluting emissions occurs thanks to very high combustion chamber temperatures, which reduce particulates and eliminate the NOx generated by the chemical reaction between the urea-based additive (Ad Blue) and exhaust gases, achieving greater engine performance and a meaningful reduction in fuel-consumption. The motor transmits power to the wheels thanks to an innovative hydrostatic transmission. The 2nd generation Vario System (Continuous Variation) by DANA consists of a single hydrostatic pump paired with two hydraulic piston motors, developed to achieve higher on-road speeds (from 0 to 40 Km/h) while maintaining high traction forces. A multi-disk wet clutch disconnects, as needed, one of the two hydraulic motors while constantly maintaining the maximum level of system efficiency. As with the diesel engine, controls are entirely electronic, guaranteeing an extremely fluid torque distribution and consistent velocity transition from 0 to 40 Km/h. Gear selection is integrated into the joystick which gives the operator a more comfortable and practical shifting control. The combined use of an FPT engine and an electronically controlled VS II transmission allows for fuel savings of up to 20%. Cooling is achieved by dual radiators with dual reversible fans. Other innovations made to this machine include a newly designed engine cover; new high capacity tanks for diesel, Ad Blue and oil; and a hydraulic system and a hydraulic pump sized for greater work speeds without giving up control or safety. The suitability to heavy and intense use of the TRACTOR PLUS is expressed not only in its powertrain, but also in its lifting ability. An innovative valve to control boom descent gives the new TRACTOR PLUS exceptional manoeuvrability and superior comfort for the operator. More precise movements, a machine that is more reactive to movement initiation and greater stability in all conditions are only a few of the advantages gained by the addition of this new valve. Greater moving speeds are obtained thanks to the new 180 L/min hydraulic gear pump, which allows for greater efficiency and a consistent reduction in work time. The resulting machine is less influenced by climatic conditions and is ready to go first thing in the morning, even with cold hydraulic oil.
Our tests have shown a significant fuel savings of between 7% and 8% given the fact that boom descent is no longer dependant upon the diesel engine's RPMs. The machines are equipped with 405/70x24" tires (alternatively 17.5 LR 24" or 18-22.5); tires with a diameter and contact patch large enough to allow flawless operation on any type of surface. TRACTOR PLUS machines are approved for on-road towing of trailers of up to 20 tonnes at a maximum speed of 40 Km/h.

Though I maintain my Italian ties and citizenship, I am a US citizen and am fluent in American English from decades of working and studying in the USA.
I completed my undergraduate studies at the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine and a Graduate Program at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Both programs had a very strong interdisciplinary focus which gives me a broad foundation for project research. Paired with an impressive travel resume and continuing educational pursuits, I am able to produce seamless translations in a variety of fields.
