Source text - English Weaving is a method of textile production in which two distinct sets of yarns or threads are interlaced at right angles to form a fabric or cloth. Other methods are knitting, crocheting, felting, and braiding or plaiting. The longitudinal threads are called the warp and the lateral threads are the weft, woof, or filling. The method in which these threads are interwoven affects the characteristics of the cloth. Cloth is usually woven on a loom, a device that holds the warp threads in place while filling threads are woven through them. A fabric band that meets this definition of cloth can also be made using other methods, including tablet weaving, back strap loom, or other techniques.

I am working as self-employed entrepreneur and part time weaving teacher.
I have always loved different languages. My English-studying experience started, when I was nine years old, and at the age of 14 I decided to include German in my language repertoire. That was wise, because I already had to translate technical manuals from German to Finnish with dictionary to my father for his work. I added Spanish to my to-be-learnt list at the age of 16.
I have worked in crocery stores, in advertising agency, in web-store and some other places earlier. In all these stores, when some traslational skills were needed, I was asked to step forward - all knew my interest in different languages. I have also done some freelance jobs beside my day-jobs. That is how I have translated some intruction manuals, texts for groceries (that didn't have any Finnish text in them), explanation of some cosmetic ingredients, cosmetic products info, etc. Translating has always been fun and rewarding.
Nowadays I do some translations for weaving instructions and craft supply instructions.
So, even when I don't have a formal translating education, I have some experience and special interest for that work.
