What I meant to say was: "Wouldn't it be better for the subtitler in the video to use a voice/speech program, so he didn't mess up? Hence my question if that is possible.

It is not a pure machine job either. It could be pre-translated and read into the screen by a human being and his voice was converted to words by a sound-recognition software.
