I am finally nearing the end of my bathroom products catalogue but have a final question to ask:
"Trappe d’obturation aluminium pour urinoirs"
I have managed to find some images of the 'trappe d'obturation' but no references that hint at its English equivalent.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
TIA
Vicky

blanking plate
Quite why "trappe", heaven only knows!
Looking at your picture it appeared to be a blanking plate of sorts, but I could not see how it could possibly work, or be practical, given that urinals come in many shapes, not usually round, which would suggest the blanking plate would go in the hole at the bottom, which would in no way stop some smartarse - arse not being the operational anatomical part in this instance - peeing into the urinal, just for pleasure of making the job of the person who has to remove the plate that much more unpleasant.
But lo and behold, if you go to this site :
http://www.allia.fr/default.asp?Path=1,145,169,244&SelectedP...
you see ROUND urinals over which this blanking plate would fit perfectly.

Still, I'm rather surprised they don't have three locating lugs, which would make it more stable.

: If you download the fiche technique from the urinal page, it shows that it is indeed a blanking plate

Thanks. Hmm, is it just me, or in the cross-section of that urinal, is the inside shaped like a giant glans? Come in Houston, engaging docking procedure now ...
