Dear colleagues,
Please help to solve the problem with error (352576128): invalid RTF format when working with Trados Workbench and Word file. I use Trados 7.5, Word 2003, Windows XP. The problem is that I cannot open a new segment in Word or move from already opened and translated segment to the next one when I open an Internet site or there is already an active site, regardless of the browser (I have tried Internet Explorer and Google Chrome). Please help to solve the problem with error (352576128): invalid RTF format when working with Trados Workbench and Word file. I use Trados 7.5, Word 2003, Windows XP. But when I fix the document from Trados tools, close Trados Workbench, the working file and all Internet sites, then reopen Trados and Word file, everything works perfectly until I open a new site, and so on.
What causes such a problem and how to solve it?

I think this problem happens because of some dumped segments in the RTF file itself, try to Save the file As DOC format , or copy the text from the RTF file to a totally new file . it might work

I have never been able to use RTF and trados 2007. I always make *.doc and then use it in trados 2007.

Thank you. I tried this way before posting my question. It did not help. Obviously, there is conflict between Trados Workbench and browsers. Tag editor works well when there are open internet sites but in case of Workbench I have to close it together with open sites (even the blank page), and then reopen Trados to continue my work.

I decided to uninstall and reinstall all active browsers. The problem disappeared after that.
