I completed a Master of Arts degree in Applied Translation in 2012, a Bachelor of Science with Honours degree in Social Science with Sociology in the UK in 2005 and Bachelors degree in Journalism in Brazil in 1984. I have concentrated my MA projects in the field of Medicine, e.g. ’Acute Cannabis consumption and motor vehicle collision: systematic review of observational studies and meta-analysis by Mark Asbridge (BMJ 2012); ‘Brain Death and the Persistent Vegetative State’; (Textbook of Neurology 1998), and I did a two month placement with the social interprise 'Books Beyond Words'. I am also interested in translating in the field of politics, Advertising, Arts, the Environment, Humanities, Literature and Media.
