I started to learn Sign Language in 1984 at the age of 12 years old. In 1991, I started to interpret in NYC and Washington DC, both in the business and educational sectors. Over the years I have primarily focused my interpreting in the medical, higher education and video relay services. I had the privilege of working at the University of Rochester Medical Center as a staff interpreter, I interpreted for both the Deaf Professionals and Deaf patients. I also worked at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf as a staff interpreter. |
