I have been working as a freelance linguist in the language pair English<>Hindi for more than 4 years. I am a native speaker in Hindi from Delhi-NCR with high proficiency in various dialects and graduated with a Masters in English from The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad which is one of the top schools for studying languages in South Asia. 

I have also worked as a sub-editor and content writer for various online websites and magazines. I love working with languages and writing as a freelancer as it gives me the time and opportunity to pursue my other interests. My understanding and knowledge of computers and software and my grasp of Hindi and English languages are my strong points. 

I have good working knowledge of tools such as Phrase (Memsource), Matecat, Smartcat, Memo Q, SDL Trades, XTM, Subtitle Edit, Matesub. Along with this, I am also familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc), and various collaboration tools like Skype, Google Meet, Google Docs etc. 

My expertise as a linguist is in translation, transcription, trans-creation, subtitling, editing, proofreading, Interpretation and review for a range of industries such as science, shipping, entertainment, technology, social sciences, commerce, hospitality etc. I also specialise in website and software localisation along with desktop publishing and have worked on gamified applications. I have worked in various capacities including:
