Source text - English Measures such as NPS are indispensable, as citizen satisfaction is often a leading indicator of the likelihood for future election / re-election results. NPS also helps government & public sector organizations better gauge their ability to serve their citizens. For example, the Australian Post Office uses NPS to help assess whether or not its services are meeting citizen expectations.
Through tracking NPS as part of its overall efforts to improve citizen experiences, the organization achieved 26% year-over-year improvement in NPS between 2012 and 2014 (10.8 vs. 13.6).
From a financial standpoint, government & public sector organizations continuously seek ways to boost citizen satisfaction without incurring additional spend. Figure 1 shows that personalization not only helps these organizations better manage the citizen experience, it also helps them decrease service costs. This is reflected in the finding that those using personalized conversations report a 6.4% increase in profitability of citizen interactions – depicted as ‘average margin of
contribution,’ whereas those that do not use personalized conversations report a 1.9% decrease.
These statistics suggest that personalization can help organizations in the public sector to streamline activities – such as collecting taxes, fees, and fines – by minimizing the cost of serving citizens. This ensures that government and other public sector organizations can operate within set budgetary restrictions.
One of the most common mistakes brands make when managing customer experience is underestimating or ignoring the role that employees play in shaping that experience. Government and public sector institutions are no different when it comes to the impact that their staff has on the citizen experience. Organizations providing civil servants with the ability to personalize citizen conversations observe 59% greater annual increase in employee engagement rates, compared to those that don’t (22.1% vs. 13.9%). Increased levels of engagement arise when civil servants are provided with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles and truly serve
the community.

I have been working as a Manager, Account Manager, Project Manager and Spanish Linguist in a translation agency for 5 years.
As a Manager, my activities included legal, tax and administrative paperwork, staff recruitment (in-house and external resources), IT tasks, and data protection.
As an Account Manager, my role included customer acquisition and maintenance, creation and management of the marketing campaigns, website and social media management.
As a Project Manager, my activities included customer care, allocation of incoming projects with the in-house and external resources, accounting and budgeting. In addition, I was in charge of the creation and maintenance of glossaries and TMs as well as the quality control using programs such as Multiterm 2014, XBench, Transcheck and Linguistic ToolBox. As a Project Manager I also provided regular feedback to the linguists through the creation of change reports using programs such as XLIFF Compare, Change Tracker, Microsoft Word, etc.
As a result of these tasks, I have acquired a great knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, specially Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, as well as different online platforms for translation and project management such as XTRF, TMS, Project Director, XTM, OTM, Plunet, WorldServer, etc. I was also responsible for the linguists and the office management.
As a Spanish Linguist, I use different translation tools such as Trados Studio 2017/2015/2014/2011, Wordfast Pro 3 & 5, Translation Workspace - XLIFF Editor, MemoQ 2014 & 2015, etc.
Since September 2017, I have been working as a English to Spanish full time freelance linguist and I have been providing services to several agencies and companies.
I quickly respond to the requests and I am reachable by email, skype and telephone. My daily output is around 2500-3000 words and I have no problem with extending my working hours (normally from 9 am to 5 pm CET) in order to meet deadlines and/or to handle urgent projects. I also work two weekends per month.
