Online Education Consultant - South Korea

We are looking for subject teachers in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, arts, social studies or history who can validate features / queries / homework-type problems and adhere to country-specific educational models.

Workload: up to 20 hours per month

Estimated Start date: Immediate
Location: South Korea
Compensation: $22 USD per hour
 
Required qualifications, skills, and experience

This is the right job for you if have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Currently teaching Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Social Studies, Mathematics
• Verified teaching certification.
• Good command of the English and native Korean language
• Good computer skills, personal computer to use with a stable internet connection.
• Three to five years’ experience in South Korea teaching Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Social Studies, Mathematics (high school teacher or tutor)
• Ability to adapt and work along with corporate culture and teams
• A high degree of knowledge in digital learnings (eLearning material, online educational videos, online content, interactive tutorials)
• Should have good knowledge on curriculum across different levels (Middle School / High School). Should be able to assess and make recommendations to different grades.
• Good knowledge of students needs and expectations while viewing content online
• Good eye for detail in analysing input provided by customer independently and confirming if this meets the requirements to perform the job or suggest improvement.
• Clear and precise communication on raising clarification and requirement gathering
• Commitment, Flexibility, Attention to detail, Communicative, Available in short notice will be a required characteristic for this role
• Subject matter expert to support the project team in analysing the input and clarifying the requirements (Pedagogical approach)
• Help in creating or reviewing training materials for the project kick-off meetings
• Quality checks on output for work executed by other teacher
