How to switch off the default spam@proz

I got the mail, and it annoyed me no end.
I was considering a compaint about spam@proz, but I decided to try to switch these spam notifications off.
Took a while, because it is hidden behind a couple of levels of menu options.
How I did it:
My Proz.com > My settings > E-mail preferences > Other notifications
It was interesting to see how many things I have been subscribed to by default.

I took away the tick in front of "Check this box if you would like to receive special offers and communications from ProZ.com on behalf of select, approved translation industry advertisers."
Hopefully that will get rid of this nonsense. ▲ Collapse

my email client rated this email as "spam" and moved it automatically into my spam bin... it is really strange, because an advertisement from SDL was delivered OK... it seems that my spam filter si really intelligent)
