Can anyone tell me if there is a current standardized form of penmanship in Italy like the Palmer or D'Nealian methods that we have in the US?
If so, is there anywhere on line that I might be able to see it?
Thank you all in advance for your help and comments.

They are taught very curly handwriting at school, I read somewhere that its based on an eighteenth century style.
A quick search gave me this: http://www.lannaronca.it/schede%20classe%20prima%20p.htm#Schede%20di%20grafia
there's a pdf download for each letter... I'm sure you can find something more concise though...

In particular, adults taught before WWII often used a style closer to copperplate handwriting. ▲ Collapse
