Hi everyone,
I've used MT software for technical translation for decades so I have no illusions about the quality of machine translation. I find it indispensable all the same. My problem is that the programs I've used all stop being developed any further after a few years - so by "reliable" I mean I want to rely on my program to be maintained!
Can anyone recommend a product for German-English for up to about 300 euros that can be expected to have a future?

Can anyone recommend a product for German-English for up to about 300 euros that can be expected to have a future?
It should have a TM function and obviously be able to import my TMs and user dictionaries. Also, it doesn't have to be compatible with any clients' or colleagues' needs, it's just for my computer.
I'm also wondering if I should give up MT and just make do with a CAT tool to solve the problem of short-lived programs in my price range? Maybe the difference in convenience between MT and CAT isn't that big?
I would be very grateful for some feedback!
